Cause of Death: Tammy was born with Hydrocephalus, In order to control the "water on the brain"(spinal fluid) a shunt tube inserted in the brain which runs to the stomach cavity to draw the excess spinal fluid off the brain. Make a long story short, Tammy had total shunt failure suddenly Dec. 23,2001, she was rushed to the emergency room, the shunt was replaced and the surgery went well(so they said),she died a few hours later, her husband did not want an autopsy performed, so I dont know why she died,complications of surgery, maybe a heat attack, blood clot, I dont Know why she died.

I live in Carson Virginia(35 miles south of Richmond)

Tammy was married with two boys, at the time 4 and 5 years old. Tammy has a brother(my son), 24. Yes, Tammy was completely normal looking(beautiful child), had a very high IQ, was very Exceptional for someone with hydrocephalus. I used to call her Dr. Tammy, She was like a walking encyclopedia. She worked full time for 10 years,Was a good wife and mother (and wonderful daughter, my best friend except When she was a teenager, we had our times!). Tammy prayed for months before Xmas asking if she could please be home For Xmas(not in the hospital) with her boys, she was in the hospital and missed A vacation at the beach with her husband and boys in September, another emergency The night before they were scheduled leave for the beach, she had to go back in the hospital for the month of November another emergency(so that took away Thanksgiving)So all she asked was, God please let me be home for Xmas with my family, Was that not too much to ask? I guess it was, another emergency, Dec 23, 2001, She died Christmas Eve, 1:30am, 2001, I had just left the hospital 2 hours before, Had been there since 6:30am, the doctors said everything was fine. She might Not make it home for Xmas, but would be home soon.
